The Railway Protection Force (RPF) on Friday detained Lavu Chavan, a 35-year-old resident of New Panvel, Maharashtra, after he was found to be in illegal possession of demonetised currency notes worth nearly Rs 2 crore at Tivim railway station in North Goa.
